Gen 1:1  In the beginning ^H0430 God [Elohim] created the heaven and the earth.

Exo 3:14  And ^H0430 God [Elohim] said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou [Moses] say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

Mal 3:6  For I am the ^H3068 LORD [Yahweh], I change not; therefore ye sons [descendants] of Jacob are not consumed [not destroyed].

Mal 3:7  Even from [Ever since] the days of your fathers ye are gone [turned] away from mine ordinances [decrees], and have not kept them.  Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the ^H3068 LORD [Yahweh] of hosts [a mass of persons].  But ye said [ask], Wherein [How] shall we return?

For every need we will ever face in life, there is a Name by which the LORD God reveals Himself as the answer.  (See Yahweh followed by another Name in 2.1 through 2.8 below:)

Gen 2:4  These are the generations [the account] of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that [when] the ^H3068 LORD [Yahweh] ^H0430 God [Elohim] made the earth and the heavens,

Gen 2:7  And the ^H3068 LORD [Yahweh] ^H0430 God [Elohim] formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Gen 2:8  And the ^H3068 LORD [Yahweh] ^H0430 God [Elohim] planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he [LORD God] put the man [Adam] whom he had formed.

Gen 22:8  And Abraham said, My son, ^H0430 God [Elohim] will ^H7200 provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.

Gen 22:14  And Abraham called the name of that place ^H3070 Jehovahjireh [Jehovah will see (to it)]: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the ^H3068 LORD [Yahweh] it shall be ^H7200 seen.

Exo 15:26  And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the ^H3068 LORD [Yahweh] thy ^H0430 God [Elohim], and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these ^H4245 diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the ^H3068 LORD [Yahweh] that ^H7495 healeth thee.

Exo 23:25  And ye shall serve the ^H3068 LORD [Yahweh] your ^H0430 God [Elohim], and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take ^H4245 sickness away from the midst of thee.

Jdg 6:23  And the ^H3068 LORD [Yahweh] said unto him [Gideon], ^H7965 Peace [shalom] be unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die.

Jdg 6:24  Then Gideon built an altar there unto the ^H3068 LORD [Yahweh], and called it ^H3073 Jehovahshalom [Jehovah (is) peace]: unto this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.

Psa 29:11  The ^H3068 LORD [Yahweh] will give strength unto his people; the ^H3068 LORD [Yahweh] will bless his people with ^H7965 Peace [shalom].

Lev 20:8  And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the ^H3068 LORD [Yahweh] which ^H6942 sanctify you.

Psa 23:1  The ^H3068 LORD [Yahweh] is my ^H7462 shepherd [rohi]; I shall not want.

Exo 34:14  For thou shalt worship no other ^H0410 god: for the ^H3068 LORD [Yahweh], whose name is ^H7065 Jealous, is a ^H7065 jealous ^H0410 God:

We must choose to do our part by not worshiping idols, money, things of this world, and the kingdom of darkness (satan / devil).

The purpose of life is not to acquire things, but to know God.

Adonai is the name for God to whom we would have surrendered our life to as Lord in the Old Testament.  Abram is doing this in Gen 15:2,8 below.  Thereafter, the miracle blessing of having a son at the age of 100 was released into his life (see Gen 21:5).

This is equivalent to surrendering our life to Jesus Christ today as our Lord and Saviour in the New Testament (under the New Covenant).  When we surrender to Christ as Lord, we open the door to God's abundant blessing in our life. 

Gen 15:2  And Abram said, ^H0136 Lord [Adonai] ^H3069 GOD [Yehovih], what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?  [more Gen 15:3-7 ]

Gen 15:8  And he [Abram] said, ^H0136 Lord [Adonai] ^H3069 GOD [Yehovih], whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it?

Psa 68:19  Blessed be the ^H0136 Lord [Adonai], who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the  ^H0410 God [El] of our ^H3444 salvation.  Selah.

Psa 68:20  He that is our ^H0410 God [El] is the ^H0410 God [El] of ^H4190 salvation; and unto ^H3069 GOD [Yehovih] the ^H0136 Lord [Adonai] belong the issues from death.

Psa 140:7  O ^H3069 GOD [Yehovih] the ^H0136 Lord [Adonai], the strength of my ^H3444 salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.

Gen 14:18  And Melchizedek king of Salem [Jeru-salem?] brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high ^H0410 God [El].

Gen 14:19  And he [Melchizedek] blessed him [Abram], and said, Blessed be Abram of [by] the most high ^H0410 God [El], possessor [creator] of heaven and earth:

Gen 14:20  And blessed be the most high ^H0410 God [El], which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand.  And he [Abram] gave him [Melchizedek] tithes [a tenth] of all.

Heb 6:20  Whither [Jesus] the forerunner is for us [who went before us, has] entered [the inner sanctuary on our behalf], even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after [according to] the order of Melchisedec.

Num 23:19  ^H0410 God [El] is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent [change his mind, be sorry]: hath he said, and shall he not do it?  or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good [fulfill it]?
